Collection Software Provider
Issues Challenge to Competitors
by
Patrick Lunsford CollectionIndustry.com
In a
bold move of product confidence usually reserved
for sodas and light beer, Data Transformation
Corporation (DTC) yesterday proposed a live
“duel” between their ZEUS Litigator module and
any other collection software litigation program.
DTC
CEO,
Andrew Thrash
, said in a release, “We are giving our
competitors a fair and open opportunity to
challenge [us] in a public setting.”
The
company proposes a live head-to-head challenge
that would take place in a public setting and
would be moderated by a neutral third party. The
challenge would involve a “standard litigation
scenario” and would cover three key disciplines:
-
Generate
and print legal documents associated in filing
a lawsuit against a debtor, i.e. Summons and
Complaint
-
Demonstrate
how an account is due for a particular
activity
-
Show
an audit trail of the legal activity taken on
that account
When
contacted Thursday for comment, DTC told
CollectionIndustry.com, “We are totally serious
about this challenge. We want it to happen.”
It is
believed that the duel would be the first such
head-to-head public challenge for collection
software.
